Bowl season is upon us and you’ll be seeing many new uniform, jersey of helmets that will debut this season for the big college bowl match ups.

Here’s a photo of an LSU jersey that they are set to wear this season in the “Chick-Fil-A Bowl”. As always, LSU keeps it simple and traditional, but still will continue to use Nike’ latest Pro Combat innovated uniform technology.

Nike eliminated double-layered padding over the shoulders to make them more streamlined, and added Nike Pro-Combat padding to the thighs and rear of the pant. Water-resistant material throughout the jerseys and pants.

The Nike Pro Combat is designed to be sleeker, faster, lighter and breathable for today’s athlete. It is 37% lighter than the current Tigers uniforms, and even when wet, the new uniforms are lighter than current ones completely dry. The design is built from the inside out and uses a dual-density foam pads for protection.
